Abstract: This research explores the benefits of bilingual education in early childhood settings in Nigeria, aiming to understand its impact on cognitive development, language proficiency, and cultural competence among young learners. Objectives include assessing the effectiveness of bilingual programs, examining challenges and opportunities for implementation, and evaluating educators' perspectives on bilingual education. Employing a survey research design, data will be collected from ECE educators, parents, and language specialists in Benue State. The sample size of 280, calculated using Taro Yamane's formula, ensures comprehensive representation and statistical validity. A case study approach will focus on bilingual ECE centers, providing nuanced insights into program dynamics. The reliability coefficient score will validate data accuracy. Findings demonstrated the cognitive and linguistic benefits of bilingual education, informing policy recommendations and educational strategies. Recommendations emphasized curriculum adaptation, professional development for educators, and community support to enhance bilingual education outcomes in Nigerian early childhood contexts.
